The 2024-25 Seventh Grade Book Study winners are:  The Body, Caraval, Float, Golden Arm, Gone, How To, The Junction Boys, Last Girl Breathing, My Life with the Walter Boys, Once, Remember This Titan, Shadowed, Silent Sister, & The Summer She Went Missing. The books are in the Media center. Harmon High PTO Scholastic Book Fair Dates

The next Harmon High PTO Scholastic Book Fair will be in the spring.

Makerspace

The results are in for the K'Nex Catapult Challenge. The team with the catapult that went the farthest distance of 63 inches is Aven Hajek, Cole Lewis, & Arie Tevepaugh; least amount of pieces used which was 17 pieces created by Samuel Decker; and the Best Designed Catapult was created by Nico Cesario. These students need to come to the Media Center to claim their prize. Thank you to all who entered.

3D Printer

The third quarter signup for 3D printing is now closed.  Contact Mrs. Beckstrom with any questions.

• Short stories: http://www.bestrobotever.com/ Totally free website. Read the hook and select a short story. Each podcast delivers chapters in 6-9 minute intervals. They are all different and have different topics.

BOOK BORROWING POLICY

• Books checked out of the Harmon Media Center have a 2 week loan period (renewable).
• No fines will be charged for returned books.
• Lost or damaged books will incur a charge. A receipt will be given.
• Unpaid bills will follow the student through high school graduation.

DONATE TO OUR MEDIA CENTER

• Consider donating funds to help us buy new books for the enjoyment of Harmon Middle School students.
• All denominations are accepted and appreciated.
• Will also accept selected new/gently used books.
• A bookplate will be prepared for each book noting the donation.
