PRINCIPAL ~ MARK ABRAMOVICH

Harmon MS (Aurora City School District) and its stakeholders are proud that we are in the top 1% of all middle schools in the state!  Out of 643 middle schools, this recognition is a direct reflection of our students' hard work, our dedicated teachers' commitment, and the incredible support from our families in Greenmen Nation. This achievement is not just about a ranking; it is a testament to the thriving, positive learning environment we have all worked so hard to create together. We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and are excited to celebrate it with everyone who makes our school such a special place.

This remarkable achievement is further highlighted by a significant milestone: we are one of only six middle schools in the entire state to earn a perfect report card for two consecutive years. This success is a powerful indicator of our sustained excellence and our unwavering focus on academic rigor. Beyond the classroom, our students have countless opportunities to grow and explore their interests. We offer 22 diverse clubs and 10 competitive sports, ensuring that every student can find a passion, build friendships, and develop new skills outside of their regular studies.

Our success is built on a foundation of strong character, guided by our three core PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) pillars: be responsible, be respectful, and be kind. These values are at the heart of everything we do, shaping how our students interact with each other and engage with their learning every single day. We are a learning community that not only values academic excellence but also prioritizes being creative, collaborative, a critical thinker, empathetic, balanced and resilient; these six competencies are the vision of what we want all of our Aurora City School District learners to possess when they complete their Greenmen journey.   Thank you for your continued partnership in helping us cultivate a school where students can achieve their full potential, both academically and as well-rounded, compassionate individuals.

ASSISTANT PRINCIPALJEREMY ROTHSTEIN

Hello and welcome to Harmon Middle School!

My name is Dr. Jeremy Rothstein, and the 2025-2026 school year is my first year as Harmon Middle School's Assistant Principal. I am very excited to be back where I student-taught in 2010. I started my career teaching math and science and am entering my 12th year as an assistant principal. My favorite part of my job is getting to know the students and supporting this amazing community.
